I have always found it funny those who bag vista are those who dont use it day to day or have systems that are able to run it.
Given a decent system, vista will shit over xp.

Everyone said the same about XP when it came out too.
People dont like change / want to learn new things.

Aug 21 2008, 12:45 AM
judging by your sig you very "OS obsessed"

its not that people dont wanna learn new things,. its just easier to stick with the old. if it still works then hey why not?

Vista and XP are the same anyway, the only thing you have to get used to is the amount of money thats no longer in your wallet.

Check the date on your computer. There are viruses that change your system date which stops windows geniune advantage working, thus bringing up said message.
Just a thought.

vista is actually really good aslong as you turn off the UAC..its faster on the net imo..i played battlefield 2 on my xp drive and had a bit of a ping issue, switched over to vista and played the same map and it ran smooth as. Most compatibility issues have been fixed and manufacturer's have caught up with vista driver release's. I have vista home premium running stable on and old socket 478 P4 3.0 Ghz system with 1gb ram and an ati video card that my other half use's everyday

If microsoft was going to anything about that pirated version of windows you have 8r3n0... im pretty sure most of the world would be fucked...
I use 3 main stream operating systems, Vista, XP and Mac OS X... i prefer Mac OS X for its reliability, Vista cause it does look alright, and XP because it plays all my games on it better...
But XP > then the others still (vista is still too buggy, mac osx hates playing flash movies from redtube youtube)
