Just wondering what adjustments you do to your photos in photoshop etc after taking them, interested to see what everone does, i am sure everybody has a different take on what to do.

First thing i do with ALL my photos is shadow highlight in photoshop... Since im no pro photographer... it helps bring out the picture alot nicer...

Depends how far u wanna take it, u can adjust the colour levels, B&W etc etc

Let's assume you mean car photographs.... because all are different.

Saturation and levels are usually it.

If I'm going to print it.... a little ( and I mean little) Un-sharp mask.

LIGHTLY burn it in around the edges.... where it looks good.... not evenly around the edge.

Don't forget to do BW with some.... it is old and good but often forgotten.

I'd go very gently with the saturation unless your lens is a little tardy in that area. If some area's take over too much you can always use the 'Sponge' tool, set it to desaturate and something reasonable like 20% and go over it as many times as you need to take the edge off and less of focal point. You can always burn the highlights to bring out whatever you're trying to show off, help making it pop.
