thats what i remember im sure that the QLD part didnt start of crazy big or the SITE in general start of witha few people like u have and build i guess thats the best way to go im sure you know people that are into things like this lol advertise with your mats and stuff dont have to have good cars just interested in them

yeha well im remember in brissy all those years ago the scene was big and it just went thru word of mouth and thats why its so big today..
i dont understand y ppl that are interested in cars havnt found this site yet..specially as the car scene is big down here..
its just an easy way to contact each other and organise meets..

It sucks because QLD unlike melb is more centralised.

From 1 side of Melb to the other side your looking at 1hr drive, then cruises from the other side like to go even further out.

So a westy who cruises to the South East can end up doing 6-8hours of driving.

Weve tried to organise meet ups, But they always fall thru, Maybe when Luke and the other guys get there P's we will have more people.

theres a bloke on here hu organises cruises with a club i think he made up.... aparently 120odd cars went the other week. onli prob is is that it near dande.... long way away from me, but ill still go to one sooner or later.... just make that one a massive one and go from there... it all starts with 1 good cruise

You all seem to think that VSS is such a bad thing... but at least it's a club putting on the best cruises in Victoria.

We try to do the right thing and enforce the rules but sometimes you cannot control things 100% which is what you'd find if you were turn the Vic Boost section into a place that could pull 500+ cars to an event.

There's a bit of criticism around the place of VSS but we are yet to have a night that we'd say was 100% failure and we've run 27 official cruises so far.

We have forums, all that too... so, perhaps VSS is similar to Boost overall in the fact that it's built entirely with a Victorian base hence there are more members being active with it, right?

Well you pose the issue as if people out there are into cars but not getting online or being part of a community... VSS has 3500 members and is the biggest car community in Victoria at this stage

You can't get word of mouth out about a club if you're not hosting regular events or doing things to bring people to look at the page and all that.

Most people from Vic would jump on the Boost forums and think "ahh right, this is a Queensland forum."

Would be hard to break that..

yeah bringing both, just talking to my mate in Seville , his taking the corona ( yet he asking when he gets the coon) Driving the coon with some mates in the middle of October. Definatly catch up if ya like , even can come to Rye, its a 4 or 5 bedroomed house so plenty places to crash !
