i have a 96 single cab lux, i want a sub in it but theres jack all room, the pre made boxes from auto barn ect dont fit so i think my best bet is to build one, has any1 done it in this model lux if so pics/info would be great.

Im building one tonight to go behind the passenger seat, only fits a 10" though. I'll get some pics up tomorrow if I can.
Its pretty easy just have to mow the jack holder thing off with the 5 inch!
By the way im not worrying about the all the technical bullshit regarding box volume...
lovey90
sweet man let us know how you go, cheers

I had a 1992 single cab ute and got a custom box made up behind the passenger seat, fitted a DD1508 easily and went pretty good.

just build one to fit. put ur seats where you want them and get a tape measure and start measuring up then buy some 18mm mdf and start cutting

i have a 94 single cab, its the same shape,

a kicker slim line fits in fine behind the passenger side, if you want one behind the drivers seat aswell you have to rip the jack holder n shit off the wall (not that hard)

there is smaller slim lines then kicker aswell such as cadence n shit, but i run kicker an its fine,

juss check out wow, JB Hi-Fi n Etc
rids
How well do the slimline subs go? Do they push out as much bass as a regular (deeper) sub?
