Hi guys.
I have HKS Hyper D shock absorbers F&R of my R33 skyline.
I was wondering if they are servicable and if so, where can I
send them?? I live in Mount Isa and I would also like to know the nearest HKS
dealer or service agent.
I have contacted Tein, Blitsein and Pedders as yet, they are all unable to overhaun my shocks, only their own. They will however sell me new suspension.... Theives.
Can anyone help.
Thanks,
Shaun

living in mt isa you should be able to just buy a new set rather than servicing provided your in the mine industry and dont blow it on booze and gambling.
OT have you tried the website? usualy have a dealer list

Not all of us here in the isa work at the mines.
I work in the IT industry and as this is mount isa. far too many people/companies are oldschool.
I dont earn $1000_ per week, Quite the oppisite. I am lucky to earn $400 per week.
The reason I own this skyline is that I saved since I was 17 years old and I bought it with cash (sight unseen) from SA.
I bought it registered, so I didn't plan on having to buy suspension, brakes, panels and maybe even a gearbox.
The car is currently unregistered pending said repairs.
I have got a price on equivilent HKS rear shocks and they said over $3k. I am certain the repairs will be cheaper and I dont want to miss match the fron and rear shocks.
So, do you understand my dilema now.

It sucks dude but I am in the boat as you (but don't live in the ISA)
I have a rear passenger coilover that needs rebuilding as well and all the places want to sell me there product but not repair mine.
I am just going to mix/match the front to rear coilovers... I wanted to change my spring rates in the rear anyway.

Yes, Yes I did.
They wanted to sell me 4 x new coilovers (~2.5k) I was like WTF I have one buggered HKS Hypermax coilover not 4. They wouldn't even just sell me the rear 2, it has to be a set.

JapaneseMotorsport.com.au sells em, google it and give them a call see if they will get it repaired for you. They will no doubt add a bs price on to it and you will probably have to do without your car for several weeks, but tell em its a go or no sale. PS i never done a thing with these guys just found them on google.
Oh..and dont forget to check Ebay
