[font=Comic Sans Ms] i have a 1991 rodeo, its way too high for my liking. i know that you can lower the rear by taking a leaf out but how? i know that its not legal but yeah. will the car bounce like a waterbed if i do it? how can i do it safely without troubles, i dont mean by the police either!? if you have done this before, how was it to drive? i have never had a car thets as high as this, angle grinders usually come in handy but in this case.....no... unfortunately. cheers ppls

take ur leafs apart and flip the second largest and put them back in. that will give u a bit of a drop then just put in blocks from there. start with 2 inch. it will ride allright but if ur a real trucker u shiould be diff on chasis then she rides well. good luck

What ever you do dont put blocks in it. Get yor leafs reset
to how much drop you want, then get some shorten shocks. Rides
so much better the flipped springs and blocks.

how can blocks ride any diffrent to standard? its exactly the same as standard in the leafs so its not going to change the travel, it's identical from standard except if u have massive blocks that will smash your diff into your chassis, which is extremely stupid and dangerous.

yer theres nothing wrong with blocks once ur springs are flat ur only going to be dangerous if u invert them so just use blocks. i do reckomend getting ur springs flattened properly but fliping the second leaf is also an optiion

lol dont use blocks?
Man use a combination of both blocks and reset leaves. In reality it depends on how low you want it.. You can only reset leaves so far. If you want it diff on chassis you will need to put in some blocks. However personally 3 inch blocks would be the biggest i would go.
Cheers

flip the spings its free and if the diff hit the chassis you just whack a thong in there with cable ties it works a treat

a real trucker doesnt want the diff of his pride and joy smashin against his rails every time he drives over a pebble. a backyard scrub turkey trucker on the other hand wouldnt be bothered by it since most of them are only trend truckers anyways and couldnt care less about there rides.

I wasn't trying to burn everyone with a notched truck, just sayin there's plenty of closed-minded fuckwits around who have never had to drive on an unsealed road.

lol. this thread is turning into a bit of a rant.
golden to answer your question you should just use your head. what is a leaf pack? its part of your suspension go to pedders or some other suspension related shop. or go to your nearest springjockey since they are also a type of springs, type in springworks in yellowpages.com.au and you will find one. i kno you used to drive a commodore but you cant be stupid enough that you couldnt figure that out by yourself.
