Hey everyone.

Just bought a VL with an RB26DETT in it, everything seems fine expect it leaks oil from under the plenum. I havnt pulled the plenum off yet to have a look, but thought i'd ask if it was by any chance a common seal or something that has let go, save me hunting all over the shop. A mate has said maybe the oil filter is loose or broken as its on that side.

Idea ideas etc would be great. Cheers.

the best thing to do right now is to find out where exactly is it coming from

clean the engine so there is no stains of oil at all then start the engine up so its running and watch for where the oil is coming from

once u have done this and u know where the oil is coming from u will know wat needs to be repaired
so find out exactly where its coming from B4 u start pulling it apart and fixing stuff that might not even be the cause of the leak
