hi guys
i'm moving back to the uk for about 8 months and i'll be buying a car
i had an s13 in oz and loved it
just wondering what sort of car i could get that would be fun to drive and how much would i be looking at for insurance?
also is there anything like oz's third party only insurance.
i wasn't looking for anything fancy for a car tho, just something with a bit of go and cheap
if i cant get anything fastish cheaply what would be a good cheap reliable car?
Thanks

i'm pretty sure you have to get full cover insurance in the UK( i'm sure the uk boys can correct me if i'm wrong) and it's more expensive then in OZ, but in saying that the cars seem to be cheaper to buy there, especialy imports. it was funny when i lived there alot of eastern Europeans just kept there car registered in there own country (lived in London) and payed about 1 fifth of the price.

its true, insurance in england is a real Bish.
Im english moved over to aus, checked this out cos im thinking about moving back.
Usualy you will pay more for 3rd party fire and theft than you pay for your car.
Usualy,
somethings will take your insurance down, but if your male + if your in your 20s + if you breath + kinda thing, money making scam but its illegal to drive without it (which it apparently isnt in queensland thanks to ORC)
Depending on how much your looking to spend on a car you can pick up a GT-T r34 skyline for around the 5k mark, Which isnt too bad.
