Hi all,
In my search for a better lens than the 100-400 with a good focal range and slightly quicker, i was wondering if anyone has used or owns a Canon EF 28-300 f/3.5-5.6L IS USM lens?
If so i was wondering if you could post some info about it and just some comments about the lens. i am yet to try this lens, so i was wondering if anyone can post up some of their own thoughts on it.
cheers,
Lance

Thats a MASSIVE range to cover. Wonder if it has much barrel distortion.

I believe that no-one on this forum has one of these lenses (if i'm wrong then please correct me) so maybe just read some lense reviews on the net or try to find a shop that has in stock take in your camera and test it out listening to what people's opinon is good but nothing to me beats using the actual lense in question. Even better find a place where you can hire one and use it for a full day to see how it goes.

Any reason behind only wanting one lens? You'd be much better off going with 2 separate lens image quality wise. Just wear baggy pants so you can put the other lens in you heavy duty pocket
