Okay, where 2 start. Evrything that is pictured here i own, apart from the 10" sub and the 2006 model amplifier. I currently hav the older model 2 channel amp connected up to my 12" sub, and the speakers r installed but neither pair has an amp wired to it. Iv just purchased the latest model amp 4 $400 but it hasnt arrived yet. I plan to buy anutha 4-channel amp, possibly the 2006 model one which i can get 4 around $200-300 and wire it up 2 one of my sets of speakers and the utha 2 channels going to my 12" sub. With the newer amp i just bought i plan 2 buy 2 of the 10" subs (or possibly a slightly different model if suggested 2 me) and wire it up 2 them. The older amp i hav atm im thinking of selling, it duznt seem to b producing as much power as it should, ne suggestions y that would b? I want my music to be clear without 2 much bass drowning it out and as little distortion as possible. Ne suggestions how i can go about this with the items i hav listed here? R 2 4-channel amps enuf to run it? Nething else i myt need? Would the 12" sub and the 10" subs stil sound good 2getha or would the timing of the bass beats b a little out? CAN I MAKE THIS COMBINATION OF AUDIO COMPONENTS WORK 2GETHA?

imo take it to a place like tower audio to get it tuned, Now saying that is your Headunit up for the task of tuning?

I like the items youve got, but do your amps power the subs completely in RMS form.

Dont know much about audio tuning or nething lyk that really, iv got a Pioneer DEH-P5950IB head unit. And i dnt know about the amps powering my subs. All i wana know really is with the items i hav, possibly excluding the 2-channel amp, am i able 2 power all 3 subs and at least one set of speakers properly? Or is it all gonna b 2 much 4 the amps? I dnt hav much knowledge about this sorta thing. Also possibly ne names of places where i can go 2 get it all wired up properly and possibly get a custom boot install?

Also i dnt intend to run my subs at theyr full power, i just want them 2 run. Probably hope 2 b able 2 hav 400-600W of power continuously comin out of them. I wont hav them crankd up that high all the time, i jus want them 2 comfortably b able2run lyk that with the amps provided. And i want at least 2 of my speakers 2 be amped so that the subs dnt drown out the music 2 much

Ok, we need to know the RMS of the subs before we can advise you on anything.

Give us model numbers of the subs/amps smile.gif

Yea sure. The 2 amps im planning on having r a P450-4 and a T400-4, i already own a P4002 but it duznt seem to be running that good nemore, whether i dnt hav it wired properly or its just past its used by date i dnt know. The sub i already own is a P3D212 500W rms sub, the 2 10" subs r P2D210's 250W rms, but im willing 2 get a different pair of 10's if theres sumfin that would suit me better. The 4 speakers i own r all 75W rms

Not saying Antonio's advice is bad or anything, but for a greater response, try posting here

Hey mate! You have some decent gear there. My advice would be to have it professionally set up. There is a bloke down at Stylin in Bentleigh who really knows his shit especially when it comes to Rockford gear. They also do some pretty awsome custom work.
THORPE84
if you have 6x9's in your audio set up you WILL NEED SLOPE CONTROL or rear low pass control(the opposite to front splits with high pass)on your head deck or else it will sound like shit.

you will need a decent quality head deck, similar to mine

my set up is:

4 channel amp for speakers splits front 6x9's back, and mono amp for 12"sub. it sounds fucking great. apart from rattling of doors and boot =/

make sure u have ur low pass filter set up properly
BOSSY LUX.
What Thorpe84 has sounds like a great set up its simple and easy to install and tune but has all the requirements. As a retired audio installer and a previous local head turner for haveing one of the loudest and clearest systems around and having spent around 15k and setting 3 comp stereos in my own car i awlays tell people its not how much you spend or the brands you use its all about how it is set up.
My own car was a vx commi running 1 15" JL Audio custom built sub, 1 JL Audio 2ch Mono amp with incabin sub levle control and hertz controll (a must for comps) bridged and set on 2 ohm designed by JL for the sub i had. Clarion splits, Clarion comp unit, and clarion 4ch amp and small clarion amp to seperatly tune tweeters all set for 142db of listening plesure. But in saying that i have installed stereo much like what thorpe has Good unit, single sub, 2ch and 4ch amp and have still pulled 136-138db depending on car, the cheapest stereo with best result was a commi with a 15" base mdl $250 earthquake sub with a cheap first gereration US Audio 4ch amp with a 12mm mdf box fiberglassed jungle and earthquake design and bese mdl clarion splits, base modle unti and a second smaller us audio amp for the splits.
TTL COST including install and glassing lighting was about 2k but spuns us all out by craning out an inpressive 134db, funnies thing was the guy had it in a comp (didnt win any place but) went up against a vs ute that had a full 22K worth of gear kitted out in the back all ported into the cabin 4 x 15"comp subs 6 drycell batteries, 6 Rockford amps incabin controll of every possible tune 8 internal speakers including 7x10" kenwoods and he pulled out a driving miss dasie figure of 132db.. Poor bastard went and spent another 1000 on a epicentre processor to get another .6db or so betterthe following day
