Hi Guys.

I have an R33 Nissan Skyline with HKS Hyper D (I guess "D" means drift?) suspension all round and one of the rear shockies are rooted ie. the iol has leaked outta the top.

I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who services and repairs shock absorbers?
I dont want to replace tha rear suspension coz I dont want to spend BIG $$$$ on new suspension.

I have contacted a few companies that sell suspension packages ie. pedders, Tein, Blitsen, yadd yada yada and they told me that they do not service HKS but thay can sell me a new suspension package..... Are you insane. I have been unable to find a HKS suspension dealer in Ausrtalia, let alone in Queensland. Grrrrr.

Can anyone help.

Thanks.

Shaun.

try www.performancewholesale.com.au they won't be able to do it for you, but might be able to tell you who can, g-luck!

I am in the same boat as you (but mine aren't rooted just yet)

I spoke to fulcrum about it last time I was there getting an alignment done and they told me basically the same thing, that they can't service HKS Coilovers but they can sell me a new suspension setup...

I asked them if I could buy two coilovers so that I could change the rear two and leave the fronts as HKS but they reckon that coilovers only get sold in sets of 4 (I have seen them sold new in sets of 2 a number of times).

I think your best bet would be to try and buy two new coilovers and change out the rear.
