I saw some people leaving Bunnings Leach Hwy last night and all I can say is they looked like wankers. One of them was driving a POS proton and he tried to do a 'burnout' when leaving the carpark. I laughed at him and so did alot of other McDonald's patrons

All in all, I think try hards like this guy give car cruises a bad name. If they want to do burnout and impress people, get a proper car with some power.
end rant

so what you are saying is that you want to encourage people to buy/build fast more powerful cars to do bigger skids on australian roads? and endanger more lives? so he's a wanker and hes giving car cruises a bad name? its these people with high powered cars that do skids on cruises that give them a bad name because thats what attracts police.

Only "nice" car I saw was a conservatively styled my99 Subi. These guys are wankers, the kind that shout out to cars driving past to 'do a burnout cuzzz'. I am not endorsing street racing, however am endorsing building tasteful cars, not shitboxes that sound like lawnmowers. For the record, small engines can sound very cool, and I am not biased towards any larger engines.

A regular/semi regular cruise would be good to get happening. I would be keen too attend when I'm not away at work.
Thing is though these cruises and the attitudes and actions of some people that attend these cruises can screw things up. IE: people 'street racing', doing burnouts and generally being idiots, brings us unwanted attention from the local constabulary. And I dunno about you guys but I don't like canaries on my windscreen.
So basically if everyone was keen for a nice law abiding run somewhere, no worries, but as soon as the bullshit starts, I'm out. I like racing and burnouts as much as the next guy, but there is a time and a place, and on the street is neither.

I have been there and done that, gets a low attendance which isn't such a bad thing if everyone is out to have a good time, last time we had a cruise and then stopped at Alfred's Kitchen as the last stop for a feed.
Will organise another one if we get enough interest and I can find the time.
