hi_lux
Ive got them on my Hilux in 35''. My beter than most tyres ive had before. Alot quieter that claws and x terrains, which is to be expected. Excellant offroad.

I've only heard good things too, so I'm getting 35's for my cruiser soon too.

How do you figure that? rolleyes.gif They are the best tyre I ever ran on my Lux and I have had claws, MTRs, BFG a/t, BFG m/ts, on it at one stage or another as well. They are better imo than the STT (I have a set on my prado) off road and about the only place the STT pips them on road is noise. To be honest unless you want to start going extreme tyres you wont get much better imo thumbsup.gif

Thats got nothing to do with the type of tyre its to do with the size and wanting to buy gear ratios from one of the dearest places in Oz wink.gif

Hey synergy,

Did you buy that green lux like that?
I think I've seen it in a build thread a while ago, leaf spring front end conversion and custom made rear tray, had beadlocks at some stage etc?

back OT; I just put MTZs on my lux, love 'em

mattress_821
brett i think you'll find the green lux is actually 'booflux''s car..well was before it started its change into the single cab?

Guy has said the same thing on OL as well.

I have a set, 15k approx usage, and couldn't be happier, even with a serious front camber issue, they have worn nothing like he is describing.

They are an awesome tyre, especially off road and bang for buck, I rate them highly.

I wasn't saying what he said was righ,t but the conversation that everyone has put in, might have been able to help with the same weight car as what he is looking at putting them on. No use comparing a Hilux to a Patrol or Landcruiser they are totaly different and tyres will wear totaly different. just my 2c.

Ive got em, would never go back to anything but a BFG.

I rate BFG and MT equal.

mate put on a new set of mtz's and travelled around australia for 6 months, they got him home no worries

I've got a set of 5 of em sitting in my garage that i want to get rid of.

I need just one, I tore a massive hole in it going over a little stump in long grass. I was pretty disappointed with the sidewall strength.

15's or 16's?

16's have a much stronger sidewall in them.
