Does the camera support a larger memory card and in what format are the files saved in?

How do they attach to the exterior of bike or car? I'm just wondering what kind of speeds you can do without them getting torn off

Hey mate,

2GB i'm told is the largest the camera will read. It will last for 56 mins of continuous recording.

Video's are recorded in AVI format.



There are 2 different types of 3M adhesive backed quick release clip on/clip off mounts included in the kit. The kit also includes a suction cup mount with a multitude of different plastic arms so you can get the right angle to shoot on. Essentially, the idea is to use the suction cup to test various positions and work out what you like. Then apply a 3M adhesive mount for quick release before using it. Obviously, if you like changing positions of the camera regularly, you can use the suction cup mount each time. I would personally advise a small strip of race tape over the suction cup, but GoPro assure me these camera's have been tested to 150mph on a plane and have passed with flying colours. I work on a GT2 at a Porsche Centre here in Sydney and have tested them at Bathurst on the roof with no problems, up to speeds of 292km/h down Conrod. Over 80 camera's were sold over the course of the week at Drive Bathurst '07 and the only one to suffer a problem was one that was attached to a GT3 wing that let go. Not a fault of the camera obviously!

The camera can also be set-up upside down and have it's setting changed in less than 1 minute so that the picture will be presented right way up!

Some of you will be familiar with it. It is both an online and printed publication that is available from some of the big shops in Australia.

I will be at Wakefield Park this friday with the camera for the Circuit Club Anzac Day track day so i can attach it to a few cars and show the guys. Anyone wants to see it, feel free to drop by. I'll also have some race footage with me from Race 2 and Race 3 of the Prod Sports held at Wakefield Park about 2 weeks ago where our 996 Cup Car grabbed three 3rd places! Not bad for it's first time out

I now have a heap of these in stock. Some will be sent out for the 2nd GB and others are being distributed to retailers. I will also have them available for purchase though.

I set up a table at the Porsche Club of NSW and had about 30 people rush over to look at the dozen camera's i had sitting there. I had never seen people so eager to throw a credit card at me!

Will be out at Oran Park tomorrow demonstrating these camera's to a new Drift School. Will have quite a few out there for anyone interested!

SCCA at Button Willow. I haven't made any personally for a few months as i've been busy selling them almost every weekend and not getting out on the track. I will hopefully have a few of me driving after a track i'm attending at Oran Park on the 7th of June.

Not sure what happened to our other thread that had quite a few responses!

We have been out to Oran Park for the last 7 or 8 weekends talking to people and selling these camera's by the dozen.

These camera's can be used for CAMS events as they are less than the 100 gram limit imposed on in-car camera's.

There's no shortage of camera's available, so you won't miss out!

Plenty of track days, hill climbs, super sprints, ride days and skid pan days left so grab a camera, strap it on and get some footage to analyse where you can improve for the start of next season!

These are one of the best tools you can buy to find out what you *actually* do, not what you think you do on the track! Review your laps over and over, compare lines to see what is faster, see what other people are doing after you've followed them for a few laps.

Every little bit helps, and at this price, you can't go wrong!

how does the camera mount to the car?

There are four 3M style adhesive backed mounts you can attach to a bumper or body panel (i use mine very low down which gives a fantastic sensation of speed!) or on the top of your helmet if you were to use it while riding a trail or road motor bike. For very fast mounting in different locations, there is also a Suction Cup mount which will mount to windscreens or side windows inside and out, all body panels. Anything that is smooth, it will attach to!

The mounts also dampen out vibration to keep the image as clear as possible!

man we put the camera on top of a 33 GTR doing a mountain run and it didn't move, u couldn't see shit cause it was night time, but it didn't move

We have had a very large order so the majority are getting sent out this week, but if anyone wants to take advantage of the low price we are offering, they better get in quick. The camera is now 100% CAMS approved for use with it's original mounts so there is now *ZERO* grey area!

You can use these at *ANY* CAMS event without copping any heat at scrutineering. They are signed off by the scrutineers when they inspect the car and you are given a letter to say it has been inspected. Couldn't be easier!

There is no longer a reason to be worried about using them on any track cars. These are good to go, but as i said, i have limited numbers left to send before xmas!
