Any advice for a noob for tyres?
I was thinking some Pilot Road Or Power 2CT's? (or somethign like that lol)
It all depends on your riding style mate, If your doing daily ride to and from work... Dont get a pilot power as you will end up with punctures. But ir your a weekend warrior and like to go at it the Powers will be the best thing for you since sliced bread.

Can you explain to me why PP's will puncher on the daily commute but not when you are smashing it up in the hills?
I'm lost as to why there is a difference..
CORSA III, look no further.

I was under the PP 2CT's were similar to the roads? Hard in the middle but soft on the edges?

Road 2 last forever. with heaps of grip
PP 2 CT's are like soft medium. not hard medium or something like that anyway.

Just spoke to a bloke for about 45 mins about tyres, as I am gonna be using them alot soon - few track days lined up. He said that Metzler is now owned by Pirelli..(F*ck cant remember which company!)
Said the standard corsa will wear best out of the three, whilst having best grip. All he sells is tyres, has 16 different brands in stock, couldnt believe it. He also said in Europe the largest selling sports tyre there was the Avon Viper - outsold PP and Corsa. Im also looking at Continental Attack, look like great tyres with a nice crown on them, semi slick tread, lots of angle
And im spent

F*ck taking a bike, what a pain in the ass, you have to park miles away and worry about it all day, just for a bit of a pose on the way in! Not to mention you're stuck with bike gear to lug around.
I hear its an awesome ride out from melbourne though.

those tai chi masters were the REAL deal... not that fake bullshit that people are practising here these days.
Also, the sync of those other martial artists was awsome!
As well as those dudes in the boxes bobbing up and down.. that was freaken epic.
Wonder how long it would take an r1 to go do a lap of their 'circuit'

any1 watch the cyclists 2day. Those roads looked delicious (for a motorbike ie. [unless its DH, which of course would be fun on a bicycle as well ^^

^ Agreed.
for china, the olympics is just a facade. And to make the olympics happen, they went against many of the principles of what the olympics is about. (eg; displacing people from their homes and MANY other things)

Road one last week and i was impressed, great power delivery and feels like you have a 600 between your legs with its size. Great all over bike but i know i would get bored so quick if i owned one as they just seemed to take all the fun out of riding.
