I saw a Door fly off an EL Falcon Drag car (rotary powered i think) and it slammed across into the wall because the wind caught it

And another story at Surfers you could park you car along side the track. At the time my family has a L300 Van and the funny cars went past when my mum was sitting on the roof watchin and cracked the windscreen. For years the joke was mum had farted and cracked the windscreen

1. Years ago i think it was a wild bunch car spat the whole rear end out on the start line,

2. The willowbank staff clown with the glasses, there was an accident i think and he jumped on the postie bike, kicked it over and hit the throttle all at once and flipped it on the start line. Actually i think that was the best one.

3. A bloke in a cubby one night did his burnout and staged it up not realising he left in reverse then flattened when the light turned green.

I remeber that as welll.....think it was a XB hardtop??????

Peter Gratz did that and years before that the Col Dunn/Greg Thompson 55 Chev did the same thing and ended up with the rear of the car on the wall

weirdest thing ive sceen was me...on my pushie haha...it was roughly 2yrs bak? friends dad had the strip 4 the day(they own the jet cars) and brocky's napkin flew down the srtip..so he told me to go get it and see wot time i could be on my pushie haha, just for shits n giggles..it was like 43 seconds haha..i hav a shit slo pushie

funniest thing ive ever whitnessed would be one of the blue star towing tow trucks run down the track, ran like a 23 off the top of my head

ive seen it a couple of times bonnets that blow off at three quarter track ive seen doors fly off also brett stevens in the stude slammer at wbank a few years back sticks in my mind pig383s monaro bonnet flying off looked pretty spectacular too at the time

and standing under the tower watching Mickey Atholwoods fueller drop a line out, it had a spit and next thing this thing shot out of the Zoomie pipes hit the tower window, cracked it and landed next to me smokin!!! pretty funny! it was a main bearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the poor ute just couldnt get traction cos there was some light rain before the racing that night...

Personally, I have launched and the stereo fell out of the dash and got wedged between the shifter and the dash and I couldn't change gears. That was pretty funny, and pretty embarrassing running most of the quarter in first gear trying to get my stez out - lol

Going back in time to Castlereigh.......being in the Gatts teams bus and M'cleods team bus racing, with all the crews and track staff we could fit in them.....both sub one minute buses!!!!!
