G'day trikdoutvl...
I'll go about answering your questions one at a time -
Entry Numbers - In over 4 years and 12 Powercruise events, we've only had to limit numbers once which was at Powercruise 12 in Sydney recently. Entrant numbers were capped at 913 entrants to ensure that we could maintain offering everyone a fair amount of track time.
Is There Scrutineering - Yes there is. Scrutineering will be conducted inside Barbagallo Raceway and entrants won't be able to access the track until their vehicles have been scrutineered. What do we look for? As a guide, go to this link
www.powercruise.net / Event Guide and scroll down to
4. CAR SAFETY CHECK / SCRUTINEERING. It should tell you everything you need to know otherwise please feel free to PM me or ask away here.
Tom, Dick & Harry - If Tom, Dick & Harry are over 18 years of age and have a valid drivers licence (P Plate or Open) then yes they are entitled to enter Powercruise 15. If they want to bring their Mum's V6 Commodore or Dad's XR8 Falcon, no problems as long it's a clean and tidy ride. All entrants have to submit a photo of their ride with their entry form so Gup can go through and make sure there's no crappers with multi colour guards and rust hanging out everywhere.
How Many Entrants - That depends on how well Western Australians embrace and ultimately attend the event. Powercruise isn't coming to replace anything or any event, what it does is offer West Aussie's is a chance to put another quality motoring event into their calendar every year.
What's The Cost - Depends on how early you get your entry in...
Between now and August 18th - $120 for 2 days
August 18th to September 26th - $180 for 2 days
After September 26th and including "On The Day Entry" - $240
My suggeston is go to the
Carline Mufflers Powercruise 15 - WA website and explore the information... There is a tonne of it plus Videos and Pictures...
Please don't hesitate to ask questions though!!
