wohoo! just booked myself a ride on a couple of buells this weekend as part of the local dealerships demo day i managed to get a place on a firebolt xb12r, and a lightining xb12s cant wait till saturday its gunna be sic! found a couple of pics to erm...... rub it in hahaha!

update forcast for saturday is rain... hope they dont cancel it ..... il ride in the rain for the firebolt xb12r, i had a look at it today looks a million times better than the pics midnight black with anodised red wheels and screen.......... tuff as!

Haha, i booked in for Sat and Sun, Got the Lighting Long for Sat (mite hangaround and fill some openeings if there are any aswell) and couldn't help myself with a ride on the Night Rod Special on Sun (only time they'll have one down here) Mite have 2 see about getting a "I'm super Tuff" or "Got Cubes" tattoo afterwards

mid next year the new rotax powered buell comes out... im hanging to take that for a spin its just a pity theyve wrecked the look with the new buell looks stupidly ugly its a pity they didnt keep the current firebolt shape with the new rotax motor then it would be one sweeet ride!

ok just got back rode the firebolt xb12r first managed to start at the rear of the group of riders so i could have a little play while no ones watching the firebolt is a wheelie machine!!! 3rd gear with a quick flick of the wrist and it was up! comes up so smooth and gentle i didnt even use any rear brake to control it... the brakes on the front are unreal any more than one finger pulls is overkill only down fall i could see with these brakes is the suspension felt way to soft when grabbed to hard.. back brake is shitful on both models i rode had to really stand on them to get it to lock the rear, wouldnt want to rely on these in an emergency.. you would die! after riding the firebolt the lightning felt sooooo boring although it was a confidence inspiring bike i reckon a learner would have no worries as its so user friendly but still boring! i got so bored riding it every time i seen a little kid waving from his driveway id bounce it off the extremely low rev limiter (7000 rpm) just for shits n giggles! lol ahhh.... the life of a demo bike hahaha......

^^^ yeah no intention of buying..... the whole day was setup for the public to come and try with no pressure to buy any of the bikes, all the bikes are ex-demo's from different harley dealerships they get them all together then ship them round in these big groups to dealerships for these ride days as there only going to be sold for bottom dollar anyway as next years model is only just around the corner so they gotta flog em off any way they can!
