Well after some extensive modifications to the rear end on the evo it was all ready to go.
1st pass 9.784 @ 144.18
2nd pass 9.69 @ 142.63
3rd pass 9.766 @ 144.18
4th pass 9.823 @143.84
5th pass 9.854 @ 143.82
6th pass and the final in super mod 9.73 @144.34
I red lit in the final, the old clutch started to creep off the line so I had to let it rip
So im really happy with running 9's all day without any breakages, which I think are a thing of the past now.
Nicks black APC evo ran a 8.84 @164 on low boost then he decided to put the 10 inch slicks on the rear and the boost up and absolutly launched like a champion with a 1.209 60 foot then went to shift into 3rd and the output shaft that the transfer case runs off had twisted in the launch and finaly snapped off.That seems to be the weakest link now, so hopefuly we will come up with a solution.
At the 330 marker he was over 3 thenths in front when we compared it with the 8.80 time card
