Hey,

My mongoose alarm, i forget which model now arms itself but does not lock the car, so it is armed but not locked and I have to manually lock it.

The guy who I bought it from and installed it didnt answer me so he was ne help.

Any ideas???

did u check if all the doors lock?
i had a mate that had the same problem and we took a look where the
door locks and the ppl that installed it didnt hook them up
properly..

Has it *never* locked them?

Sounds like they haven't connected the alarm to the central locking module.

A decent auto electrician or audio shop (Audio Express, Northfield etc) would be able to hook it up easily, or if you had the alarm manual AND a wiring diagram for your car AND had some idea of electrics, you could do it yourself.

was a loose wire. I did the job(but not the central locking.) and the call was via a SMS message - something that I dismiss as a beep during my day. fixed this morn after a return call yesterday when I saw the message.
