i just opened my kickpanel to check out my ecu and revealed an aftermarket blitz computer which i had no idea was there ! ! !

so far ive found out -

The Blitz Access computer does not rely on fooling the ECU with external clamping circuits or making sensors read differently, it properly re-programs the factory limits, and all the fuelling is adjusted accordingly. The Boost limits are raised, the speed limits are removed, the rev-limiters are raised, the timing maps optimised, and the fuelling maps are adjusted to cope with higher boost.

Thats all I can figure out from a page full of little stick men fighting each other (which they call an alphabet).

Hey dude nice find!

Chiptorque are the distributors for Blitz in Australia. Call Stephan on (07) 5596 4204. He should be able to help you with any questions you may have.

Im pretty sure its a stand alone plug in computer. I have them in my Blitz Powerbook but no one has ever asked about them.

I beleive the system for these computers is that the customer goes to a blitz dealer (in japan) and tells them all of their modifications and they design an ecu to suit.

Fitting your RSM should be no problem as they run the same plugs as the factpry ecu. A friend of mine has an access ecu along with an RSM....no probs biggrin.gif

They may be $1800 new but the odd bargain can be found......Another friend of mine bought one from a dismantler that obviosly did not know what is was.
For $250!!!!!! thumbsup.gif

ive got one in my car...
i even took it out and opened the thing up and had a look and sure enough its all there, so i put it in my mates 180sx and it made a big difference...he could now chirp gears where before he couldnt....pretty good for 10psi and and exhaust i thought and it also made the thing rev smoother

prolly wont be able to get them retuned in australia id say

I also had one in my 180. They probably have a unique program for whatever mods you have requested, but the biggest difference I found was no speed limiter.

Have since removed the daughterboard and replaced with a badbiki, with standard tune and the hi-boost rom that is getting about. I found the standard to be a bit laggier but comes on hard compared to the blitz. I also found the blitz to ping in real hot weather/ go into low octane mode no matter what fuel I put in - its probably better with hi-octane (100+) jap juice
