Here is a picture of what we are starting with. My 1996 Nissan x-cap.I'm getting tired of the nose bleeds and i'm about to change that!

[attachmentid=359481]

First we are going to locate our torsion key and bolt.It should be located right below your door mirrors and behind your frame.Here is a picture of what a torsion key and bolt look like.

[attachmentid=359484]

Next we are wanting to get a 9mm wrench and ratchet.First use the wrench to loosen the bottom bolt and take it off. Next use the same wrench to loosen the top nut far enough to where you may use your ratchet.This is what lowers your vehicle

[attachmentid=359490]

Now after you get both sides completed, you will notice that your front bumpstopps are slammed against your control arms.The easiest way to get them off is to lower your truck first so they won't be turning with your nut. Get a 3mm wrench or ratchet and loosen the top nut untill it comes off, then jack your truck up and they will slide off. Here is what you end up with.

[attachmentid=359501]

Now all you have to do is order some new bumpstops and some lowering blocks for the back and you are done. The blocks i ordered are 3" angled blocks.

[attachmentid=359510]

Now here is a diagram courtacy of nissanminis.com on how to install your blocks correctly.

Here is what we end up with. No more nosebleeds, just the fresh smell of burnt rubber and pavement!!

the bolt is usually on or near the gearbox crossmember .. which is where the gearbox is mounted and held, cant really get more self explanitory then that!
*84LER*

Hey Luxalicious, i wanna do some body work to ma lolux now that I have finshed my custom cannon muffler install

how Do i shave the doorhandles on my lux?

Hi guys
Brand new member here..
I have a 1991 Nissan Navara, yesterday Wound down the Torsion bar in the front and its sitting all sweet now, But i have a problem with the Rear, i have 40mm lowering blocks, Or so everyone deems them to be, but i want to drop that rear and cant figure out how to.
It seems like it has been raised.. but has lowering blocks in.. I read this "Some types of trucks have a rear axle that rides above the leaf spring. Installing lowering blocks on a truck like this will actually raise the rear of the truck." and is this the case for me?

Here are two pictures of my ute

Info would be very much appreciated[attachmentid=632973][attachmentid=632974]

petrol - yes just fit it like any other car with a bov. place bov after the turbo and t piece of a vacuum line
diesel - apparently some people have done it but fucks me how.

why would you want a bov on a 4wd? just one more thing to get clogged and fucked with mud and dirt
