have 2 Commodore VR wagons, 1 (green in colour) with working power windows (but no wheels, gearbox etc as they have been transfered to the latter car) and 1 (white in colour) with manual, wind up windows. I am keeping the white car and have been building it up (nolthane bushes, monroe susp, mags stero bla bla bla) waiting for me to get my lisence back.

What I am wondering is, can I take the power windows, switches motors, etc (everything to make them work) and install in my white car to umm, well make them work? (as opposed to swapping the entire doors as im not painting them)

I dont know if my white car has all the loom and wiring nessisary to do so, as i dont really mind cutting holes for switches and ive already swapped some of the door trims over anyway. (my green wagon caught fire )

I hate the fact of manual windows in my wagon cos i loved nothing better than jumping in, pushing all 4 windows down, and driving off, as opposed to winding the stupid things up (ive never owned a car with manual ones).

If anyone could help, or even tell me if its completely impossible or not i would be very happy. Ive done a fair bit of my own work on the car to do with the stereo system etc, and i dont want to waste my time ripping the trims out again to simply find that well yeah i have wasted my time.
