hay ive got an 89 hilux want to run a newer front bar 02 i think it is but want to keep the older grill did the make one that doestn have the bit missing where the newer grill fits, hope that makes sence cheers
will post a pic of wat of mean

the top section is metal yeah? u could weld on a section of sheet metal to fill that gap, filler and sand, prime paint.

You dont chrome over led, you get the metal coated in copper, then file that. Too much stuffing around imo, but if you want it done then you will have to do it.

a friend has that model bar and the just mounted up a piece of polished stailess to fill the gap .. wasnt perfect but looks much better then a huge ass hole IMO

even the genine ones will have a gap. Just section the brackets and bring it in closer to the rad support. Not very hard

if i move it closer means the wheel arches wont line up with the bar, so i dont no might just a genuine one and glue a piece of stainles up underneath

ever think of fillin the gap with putty and gettin it rechromed?
