I currently own an 06 Suzuki Hayabusa and lookin at doin some custom mods to it. I came across this site called two wheel tuner and it had this photo of a Busa with an extended swingarm and a big 9 or 10" rear wheel on it.
To me it looked wicked, but i'm wondering if anyone here on this board has done it to there bike? and how much does it affect the ride? would most bike shops do this mod? has anyone done air suspension?

I highly doubt you would get it registered on the road with an extended swing arm. Most of the time a mod like that is done for drag racing purposes. Extending the wheel base improves traction. To fit a wheel that size you would need to extend the swing arm though I can only assume that handling would be greatly reduced due to the extra overall length of the bike.

Most Performance bike shops would do that sort of mod, I doubt your team moto's etc would touch it though. I don’t know anyone with air suspension, but if you have a fist full of cash I'm sure air bags of some sort could be fitted.

yeah the bike will be a bit of a show pony, though i still will ride it every day. Most likely won't corner all that flash but hey it's a Busa not an R6.

try www.sandrpro.com they are a bunch of guys in western sydney they have there own stretched and turbo'ed busa making 6oohp there not a bling shop but they can sort you a extended swing arm etc plus what they dont have im sure they would know where to get it
