In case you havent noticed, this IS Australia.

Yeah i noticed it was Australia.. But maybe you didn't notice or know that this exact same style of event has been held here in Ebisu for more then a few years. Looks like some one has just gone straight out and copied it which is a bit a rip off if you ask me. It is good to see this kind of stuff happening in Australia now, but ripping off some one elses idea this much is not so cool.

Actually the FMX and Drifting although run both through Raceline Promotions for this event, were two totally different events. Nothing like the BIG X held in Ebisu. Thin grey area anyways, wouldnt ANY drift event be a rip off the Japanese if your point was correct?

The Motor Bike riders were a completely seperate event on their own right, the drag / burnout cars, Jet powered truck, stunt motorbike riders and drift were set up as entertainment for the bathurst crowd, and i think the crowd in general were wowed by the spectacle.

Was an awesome sight to see and to be a part of it was awesome!

Standing on the start finish straight witht he crowd behind you as they were doing their stuff was just unbelieveable!

All in worth the 13 hour drive each way!!!

ive never heard of big-x or ebisu
mate you are either naive, incorrect or ill advised or all three, you should check your facts before posting comments like that & making false statements, we have been running shows with freestyle, burnouts, DRAG demos, bmx, rally, mini bikes, dynos, etc for almost 15 years & began negotiating to run drift at the GOLD COAST INDY in 2002 & run drift at SANDOWN, BATHURST & INDY as part of the on track entertainment, & as stated on this forum they were 2 seperate events, the FMX was NOT on the main strait on some sketchy setup, it was in a specially constructed compound & was rd 1 of the aust FMX NATIONALS & the event itself was the BATHURST INTERNATIONAL MOTOR FESTIVAL with a full weekend of circuit racing as well as the BATHURST 12hr race
so i guess we were running combined ACTION SPORTS EVENTS FIRST

its completely dif but even if it is the same its in australia just saves the flight to jp

should be great and cant wait for hyperzone for some more sick drifting..
