i have a 1992 hilux and i have bought a set of alpine s type 12" subs. i am looking for someone that can make custom boxes on the gold coast or knows a professional that can build one. that will fit behind the passenger seat

car tunez is a good shop for custom work. i think thats what it is called some will correct me if im wrong, my mate built his own custom box in his ute so he could also help you but we are in brissy pm for more details

i have the 91 single cab grinner low lux, and am having the same problem, however look in the mini truck forums under subs or single cab subs, i did the other day and there is a minitrucker who had done his own in the same/similar lux model using fiber glass molds and mdf wood, it looked hella good and he did it himself and posted instructions. if that fails, get a carpenter mate to build one for you with the same ideas, bung them behind the two seats with your amp inbtween in the centre console... plus you will save a small fortune...
