Just wondering if a bearing is gone in your gear box or something similar is it possible to lose power to your rear wheels??? Also what do people think of upgradding coils and leads is it worth it??

Thanks 4 ya help.

bearing, no. coils & leads, if u r breathing more air , yes if its stock , not a lot of point

If a bearing is gone in your gearbox generally most if not all of them would be worn... it would be really farking noisy.

So long as your car gets good spark from the existing ones your should be right for the minimal power gain you may achieve

Na its not stock in the engine im just trying to find and excuse for a lot of power loss. Gearbox grinds in forth bad.

that is probably more likely to be 4th gear syncro rather than a bearing.

yeh i'd say its your syncro mesh in 4th... Id say it would be more of an internal problem if your loosing power though...

might be a crazy idea.... but have you checked all the really basic stuff... like how clean is your air filter?

as well as plugs? are they they right plugs?

Yea cheaked all that they were new filters when dynoed and plugs have been replased twice now. Is there any good performance plugs that make a difference i have heard of titanium ones and stuff.
60MEE GTiR
platinum and iridium tiped plugs but they don't make a big difference if you are after that...
