The monthly Southside Cruise is usually just about driving around, seeing different places and meeting new people, so I thought that this time, we should do something different
I have discussed it with a few different people, and we all agree that the Yatala Drive-In's would be a great night out!
We will be holding this cruising/movies night on Saturday the 3rd of February and the movie times are as follows:
Screen 1 - 7.15pm
Movie 1. Happy Feet
Movie 2. Night At The Museum
Screen 2 - 7.15pm
Movie 1: Epic Movie
Movie 2: De Ja Vu
Now the movies to be watched at Screen 1 are still to be chosen, but I will update here as soon as I find out what they are
Double Screenings are $12 per adult
Before the movies, the meet spots will be as follows:
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE UPDATED TIMES BELOW
Springwood: 5.00pm, leave at 5:30pm
Yatala BP: 5:45pm, leave 6:00pm
Arrive at Drive In at 6:15pm
Now there will be a bit of a wait in the line up at the Drive-In's, but getting there early ensures we all get a parking spot either together or close to the screen
Afterhand, we will meet back at Yatala BP and decide what to do from there (this all depends on what time we all get out and the movies finish)
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to pm me or simply ask in the thread!
I look forward to seeing you all there
Mel and Luke

Epic Movie
The twisted minds of two of the six writers of "Scary Movie" tackle the biggest mega-blockbusters of all time in "Epic Movie." The story centers on four not-so-young orphans: one raised by a curator at the Louvre (where an albino assassin lurks), another a refugee from Mexican "libre" wrestling, the third a recent victim of snakes on her plane, and the fourth a "normal" resident of a mutant "X"-community. The hapless quartet visits a chocolate factory, where they stumble into an enchanted wardrobe that transports them to the land of Gnarnia (with a "G"). There they meet a flamboyant pirate captain and earnest students of wizardry – and join forces with, among others, a wise-but-horny lion to defeat the evil White Bitch of Gnarnia.

DeJa Vu
Everyone has experienced the unsettling mystery of déjà vu – that flash of memory when you meet someone new you feel you’ve known all your life or recognize a place even though you’ve never been there before. But what if the feelings were actually warnings sent from the past or clues to the future? In the captivating new action-thriller from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Tony Scott, written by Terry Rossio & Bill Marsilii, it is déjà vu that unexpectedly guides ATF agent Doug Carlin through an investigation into a shattering crime. Called in to recover evidence after a bomb sets off a cataclysmic explosion on a New Orleans Ferry, Carlin is about to discover that what most people believe is only in their heads is actually something far more powerful – and will lead him on a mind-bending race to save hundreds of innocent people.
