I have a Rodeo with a Ca18det, last night i went for a drive and it felt a little rough, at 100kmph it was sitting on 6psi constantly and it didn't really wanna do 100kmph i had to kind of make it do 100kmph, this is the first time this has happened, it was blowing a constant stream of black smoke (fuel) and was like poping and farting as i was driving, the fuel gage was moving pretty quick, i ended up using half a tank of fuel in just 115k's, it always hasn't been to good on fuel but, never this bad.
Mods are:
KKR 330 Turbo
3inch exhauts, 3inch high flow cat
front mount
pod filter
Vl fuel pump
Please help me if you can
Cheers Tim

Are you running an aftermarket ECU??? If it lost power at al it could of reset itself loosing all of it's settings ( This happened to me once )

Any ecu that loses its setting with no power should be put in the bin.
My Microtech was without power for 12 months on the sss and it never lost a thing
Sounds to me like a fubar afm or intercooler pipe problem.
321Cya will have more ideas than me when it comes to ca's

watever it is, its placing huge strain on your engine - for it to make boost at 100 km/h on cruise.
doubt its a boost leak - wouldnt show 6 psi at manifold if it were.
could i suggest your ignition timing is up the creek, or there's something holding the car back.. seized brake caliper, etc, which makes the car work hard just to get moving

Check to make sur eur airflow meter is not dead, u will need to actually test the voltages. ALso maybe a fuel presure reg but not the first stop id go for.

Nothing is holding the car back at all, i was going to try the fuel reg but was
told the Intake temp scenser, checked the plugs and they are black as all f@$k, and smelt like fuel,
also when car is idleing if i put my hand near the muffler and then smell my hand my hand smells like fuel,

Does the car idle smooth?.... my money is on the AFM or loose pipes somewhere.
If not that could also have some type of exhaust blockage or faulty fuel reg.
