Alright, how do you get spray paint off a car?
Black spray can used on blue paint, drew a line around 15 - 20cms long.
Any help will be useful.

um... i have no idea if this will work, but try some simple wax and grease remover... (i think thats wat its called) prepsol, watever it is.

Dear All,
I have just spent the past two hours removing white grafitti spray can paint off the bonnet of my prized black Nissan 350Z!!! Its now back to perfect! Here's how....
1. Lightly wash affected area to remove overlying dirt with a standard wash (no wax)
2. With a cotton cloth dipped in womens nail varnish remover with acetone carefully rub out the spray paint. Careful to stop when you see the original paint.
3. Then wash acetone off with water immediately.
4. Do SMALL areas at a time
5. Repeat until majority of spray has come off, there will be some speckles where the spray has gone peripherally-leave it, you'll get more acetone on the original paint than on the spray.
6. Once majority is off, wash again.
7. Then using Maguire Scratch X do the whole area focusing on where the spray is left.
8. Repeat step 7 till no spray left.
9. Now you've got a good surface to apply your usual coloured polish / wax.
It does take time but it certainly worked for me, and the bonnet now looks as good as new as in doing so have removed minor scratches too.
Hope this helps...Word of warning test a little of the acetone on the least obvious part older car paints may bleed off......

I saw V at a party in moil... i was drunk probly could of been blind at the end of the night... ok that was enough random shit, i'd just use thinersand then imetadly wash the car and use a good wax... you could also polish it out, but you'd have to use the right polish , and you could buff it out or give it to say tidy car...
A 3M clay bar (cleaner), thinners will damage the paint surface. Try prepsol first and if that doesnt work use a claybar. You will need to put some sort of polish (preferably a wax) over it to replenish the paint.

I didnt say a word, just typed...
yes not dropping the 3m claybar is the most important thing as it can scratch the sh1t out of a paintjob if it gets dirt in it. if it is still a bit dark after using the clay might pay off to run a buff over it to try and bring the paint up a lil nicer

although im only 13 and i dont own a car i think its total bullshit what people do to other peoples pride and joy. I find VL's in this bush, dented, striped and then burnt. what is the point at this? its stupid and mostly just lowlifes who dont give a shit about anyone else. My bro works at a boody shop and tells me abit and rekon that prepsol should get it off, its like a strong degreaser i think but id try it on a small spot somewhere hidden just to be on the safe side. lol my bro owns a VL and no there not just bought and burnt because you find they were in pretty good nick. i was out riding with my friends and someone had burnt a car then it rained so it wasnt severly burnt it had a crower cams sticker and decent wheels so yeah i dunno.

Ok back on a serious note.
Tried washing the Mrs car today. She really neglects it!!! Anyway washed it with maguires car shampooooooo but still covered in grime and crap. Tried boat wash as I thought that was a bit more heavy duty. Still covered in grime and crap. The paint work has all those tiny black dots on it so when I run a cloth over it I feel like I'm reading war and peace in brail (s).
Anyone got any suggestions? Prepsol? I just want to cut through all that nasty gunk so I can give it a good polish.
It's only a bog standard 3 yr old Astra but I'm sick of looking at it in the drive way. It's bringing the value of the neighbourhood down.
Oh and Phee sorry to hijack yuor thread but seemed an appropriate place as any.

Bought me one of them thar clay bars today. They are the best. Got all the lumps, bumps, tree sap and crap off the car. Still got all the marks from the bat and bird poo and no amount of autoglm gets rid of that. Car looks 100% better though.
Gonna use it on philfy now just for the hell of it.
