hey just wondering if anyone knows the name of this plug? similar to a 6 pin mini din plug that doesnt have pin #2 but the locator is slightly lower. the screen is just a "super" branded screen and this cord is the AV in.
Also note it has the keyboard symbol (the ps/2 plug symbol?) as shown in the second picture

i thought it was S-Video as well and bought all the cords then it turns out it has 5 pins and the locator is vertical not horizontal. no one has known what it is yet!

hmmm the only similar thing i can find is a 6 PIN MINI DIN. Aparently used in CCD camera monitors.

i remember seeing same connection when installing some security camera.. like svideo but slightly different

from what ive found it does seem to be more like a CCTV connection than anything else. It is very similar to a 6 pin mini din other than it missing pin #2 and the locator being slightly off. My soloution....taking it to get the snip and a new head put on (probably S-Video or similar)

Could it actually be a connection FOR a video camera? Such as a reversing camera or similar?

I think they guys are on to money with the security camera thing. It looks similar to a system we sell at work you will find that some there is pins for power etc.
