Hey Kirstie big fan of the Stagea

how much did urs cost and where did you buy it from?
Wildcat
yeah i wanted something practical but with a bit of performance, and i used to have a skyline, so didnt want to stray away from the nisssan engine! i actually imported my own from Japan through a broker...

the car alone cost me about $3500AU (or about 320000Yen) and total cost with import/export taxes, quarantine, compliance(included new parts that i needed), rego, insurance(very expensive insurance sad.gif ), alarm, pits (basically everything to get in on the roads here cost be just under 15k.. the cheapest i could find in WA was 19k and for what i got they were asking 23k so i saved heaps importing it myself smile.gif

I havent had one problem with her at all so i could be happier smile.gif

present stage of restoration:

straightened panels.

--will be done by may 07--

P.S: most of which has been priced and quoted. without the CA18det it will cost me around 8 grand, which i have saved up over the last 2 years over my various jobs, haha.

car being painted by my neighbour who used to paint cars by trade. im suplying the paint hes painting it for a few bottles of southerns. (most expensive part of the whole thing was going to be painting, quoted at 7k just for painting, thank god for mates biggrin.gif)

so yeah, alot of the more expensive things my neighbour or myself can do to cut costs.
plus isnt the whole "restoration" thing so you have something to do, and so you put most of the effort into it?
