Relativly simple job here people, hardest part is mounting it.
Tools
Drill and suitable bits
Cutters
Torch
Method
First thing to do is to find your fuel regulator. Once you have that, search out a spot in the firewall. Look for a rubber plug. Failing that, have a rubber plug ready.
Once you have found your fuel regulator, you will also see the small peice of vaccuum hose that connects from it to the intake manifold. Remove it.
Cut the hose at the correct length so you have two peices. Figuring out where to cut it relates back to the T peice you will use and the position of the regulator.
Fit the T peice. Fit the boost guage hose to the T peice.
Depending upon what kind of T peice you use, you may need a rubber adaptor to fit the boost guage hose. Others may fit snugly inside the T peice. If they fit inside, be sure to use a small amount of glue around it to keep it there.
Reconnect the vaccuum hose to your regulator and intake.
Find your rubber gromet in the firewall. Have it close to where your boost guage will sit if possible.
Drill a small hole (a little smaller than the hose) into the rubber and run the hose through it. Reach through and pull enough length to reach the guage, while leaving enough slack to be cable tied to existing wiring/brackets/etc. Put the grommet back in the firewall.
If you cant find a spare rubber, you will need to drill the firewall. Have a grommet ready and be sure not to make the hole too large for the grommet.
Run the line to your boost guage and connect it with the supplied adaptors.
Before continuing, start the car and check it works.
Running it from the regulator will show both vaccuum and boost pressures. Other places may not.
Spray some carby cleaner around the connections and check for any air leaks. These can be disasterous.
Next is connecting the lights.
I'll update this once mine has been done, but just incase I get slack, heres a relatively quick run down.
Use the dimmer circuit of your lights which will work the lights on the guage similarly. The circuit is also easy to find.
Should be a matter of postive to positive and negative to negative. Use insulated terminals as well just incase you need to remove it at a later date.
Finally, mount the bastard. I dunno how, so I'll let you figure it out for yourself.
And enjoy. Yet another toy to take your mind off the road
