I like boostmiester's pic, and twists second.

I still prefer the idea of everyone submitting a photo for a certain theme like most photographic mags run their comps, and then we vote the next week, while the new comp is running and people are submitting.

If i can make a suggestion.

Can each person maybe give a quick run down on why they voted for 1 picture over another.

Personally i cant see why my picture was included, its horrible, the others were much nicer, but i wouldnt mind seeing why everyone voted for the current winning picture.

I'll start off.

I voted for Twist for the way he used the leading lines to drag my eyes through the image. The colours are nice and its just a very interesting Element of design style image.

The rest seem under exposed or lacking a real focal point in my opinion.

I'd love to hear what the rest of you think when you vote.

Ok. Considering i chose them all I'll give my 2 cents worth.

Twist's shot has great lines, very rustic colors and excellent composition with the split in the centre. Very eye-catching image that i REALLY like. It's my Fav.

Boostmiester's shot (is NOT under-exposed, your monitor is too dark), I love the bright, strong colors of the sky and the cleaness of the sand. I think the Landy looks very at home and comfortable in it's location (off the road) and the big powerful stance makes it look like a big gentle giant.

53XEH's shot has great lines that lead your eye from the brighter part of the shot up out of the water to the merc. This (unconciously) leads us to feel as though the car has emerged from the water. Very effective image that I really like looking at.

Ronald_R32's pic would have been a very ordinary sunrise shot, but because of the shadowy figure in it, it suddenly becomes far more interesting and eye catching. The hooded sihouette also gives the person somewhat more mystery about them.

I like G8Keeper's shot because as a photographer I understand that it is a hard shot to set up and i feel he should get some recognition for his efforts. I also think it is a nice image, eye catching, dull colors for a gothic style pic. Good composition with the hammer in the left 3rd. I like it.

So now u have my reasoning. What do u guys think?

I'm not a big fan of any of these. I think they're all just a bit lacking in any real eyecatching feature... but I'd probably say:
Twist: for the use of lines despite not really knowing what it is, its artistic.
Then Ronald: simply for the crisp colours and the silhouette looks pretty cool.
G8keeper: Interesting compostition. something I havent really seen done and he deserves some credit for originality.
