hey all, my mate has been telling me off this problem he has, he took his car to this place to install two speakers and a head unit in the front, and he has been having this problem since, when he indicates and has his lights on and turns them off his stereo goes on and off... im going to have a look at it for him, because he has taken it back to this place, they fixed it, then it started again, i thought it may be the wires.. wat do u's think?

well where was it installed sounds like they got the power for the headunit from you indicators had the some problem when i brought my car they hook it up to the rear windscreen wiper so every you turn them on off goes your headunit. i would take it back to the place where you got and get a full refund for the install as if they install that dogdey i wouldnt pay for it and go to a audio store to get it installed

bad installation, don't like your chances of a refund but definately get it reinstalled by someone who knows what they are doing

They have grounded the headunit to the illumination wire. The illumination wire reads ground at rest. When the lights are turned on this line generally goes to +12volts. Scary scary scary scary....
