i accidentally overtook an undercover cop the other night on the highway...he follwed me for about 10 mins before he pulled me over, probably to see how fast i would go. safety, i think not...revenue raising police. then he fined me for speeding (fair enough), gave me a defect, and fined me for giving me a defect.... since when do u get a fine along with a canary? i've never heard of this before..my mate got put off the road that night as well and got the same fine?

hmm yeah you can actually cop a fine for a defect if they feel they want to include it with the defect... just thank your lucky stars you dont live in QLD where they loose points for defects too!
