Well... my tax is in... what will I spend my money on... hmm I could use a hair light in my studio tongue.gif

That being said the first month from the 2nd half of the year is gone which means that 2006 is officially more finished then it was this time last month.

So anyways, after the usual consultation with the panel of anonymous judges, we've deteremined that this weeks Boostcruising Picture of the Week winner is vp_s_wagon the out of towner boy with the Nikon camera whose taken out the title more times than Clark has broken Lana's heart, with his photo:

IPB Image

I'm going to go out on a limb and call this photo "A long thought" because i think it's fitting, due to the lines this photo leads viewers up the long length of the peir to the person sitting at the end deep in thought.

Congratulations and keep the pictures coming guys and you too could see your picture here.

So good work guys and girls.

Feel free to congratulate and discuss this image till your hearts are content. I'm sure VP (one day I'll have to learn your real name) will be happy to answer any questions you all might have towards the image.

The Boostcruising Team.

As absolutely beautiful that photo is, I took the liberty of trying something... nothing drastic! Just a quick little alteration... I'm a bit of a horizon nazi...

Congratulations mate, that IS a great shot, lots of mood, it really tells a story, makes a HUGE difference with a person in the shot, wouldn't be nearly as good had your mum not played model. Well done, for your age you take great shots with obvious pre-thought.

Cheers Nickle,
If u look at the post again, there are two posted, one with a straight horizon, one without. The other diff is that one had more DOF and my mum is off to the side. This one is not actually my pick of the two, but i'm not complaining!!
Cheers for the comments and help.
