break
Alright, one thing all of us photographers crave is those perfect locations to shoot.

So, why not share your favorite locations with the rest of us.

Please post locations and a quick description of what style of photography that location suits.

Here are my favorite locations (in Brisbane):

Pelican Point, Redcliffe - I find this a great backdrop for nightime shots of cars. You can get the bridge in the background nicely by parking the car at the top of the boat ramp.
Mt Cootha - City skyline
Southbank - Great shots of the skyline, and the river makes for great reflections at night
Riverside in the CBD - You can get great shots of the skyline, and in particular of the story bridge here
Kangaroo Point - You can get shots of the cliffs, but I like getting shots of the city accross the river
New Farm Citycat Wharf - More skyline shots
UQ - There is TONS of interesting architecture here to shoot
QUT Gardens Points - Like UQ, has plenty of interesting architecture
Botanical Gardens - Plenty of wildlife to shoot, not to mention some great backdrops for models.

Hrmh for me...

- Any of the beches in Adelaide - Largs, Semaphore, Henley
- The Fleurieu Peninsula
- Sydney, so many cool places from the old train stations at Museum and St James to Watsons Bay
- Anywhere on the Torrens facing the City here in Adelaide

Favourite place would have to be the city, even though Adelaide is still a pretty small place I wouldnt have been into 1/10th of the back streets the CBD has to offer. Interesting backdrops and interesting people...

Okay because no one would know of my locations if I posted them (being a Tasmanian) I will just say what I crave for my shots:

- Interesting sky and good direction of light
- If I'm shooting cars at a distance, I like to have some industrial buildings, or urban style backdrops like roads/bridges etc.
- Shooting scenery its always nice to have plenty of vibrant colours, and some water in there somewhere (like a lake or beach).
- Something unique, trying different things rather than repeating what everyone else has already exhausted.

im not much of a photographer, but i found there is some really nice scenery in Coffs Harbour when on holiday, and where I was staying there is a really nice "private beach"... i can't remember what the resort was called, but its owned by accor and the wallabies stay and train there... it was also the place where the bulldogs rape scandal happened.
