Cheddle and I are making a DVD styled production for our major in Computer Graphics and Design. We plan on making something similar to the Ignition DVD. One of the main features of our production will be a cruise, this is where we will need you guys to help! We will be looking for feature cars, so anyone who thinks they have it please PM me or Cheddle with some pics and details of mods etc... Just wondering if any of you guys would be up to helping us with this.

It would involve a cruise, some photo shoot-outs and interviews with the feature cars and their owners. Have a chat in here if you are interested and what dates, times etc would suit you!

no, CAD is computer aided design, like architecture/engineering software. they use 3ds max over there, which is not a true CAD program although it does have bits and pieces. It's generally used for modelling/animation. and anyway video editing has nothing at all to do with CAD.

so computer graphics and design isnt CAD...CAD is a specific thing. its like calling english study english lit...CAD is a very precise sorta thing and can involve physics simulation for example using M(mechanical)CAD software suspension manufacturers can test their springs or whatever. computer graphics and design is a basic course that includes many aspects of design including CAD, modelling, animation, production, lighting, 2d/3d, video and sound editing. better not have this discussion about bc vs shift. No point to it - If anybody has read the thread on shift... (it got ugly lets say), and negativity isn't tolerated. There isn't any competition about whos got the biggest ego, etc. As Alec says, its purely a group of ppl who want to catch up (more so out of 'meets') who share a common interest, even if they dont have their licences. its the enthusiasm which they bring to it that counts.

We also didn't have 10 lancers,5 mirages,5 exels and a coon..we had 1 lancer and 1 coon and a nice 1 at that....we also had a twin turbo supra,a VH commo with a 350 chev,a 300 Zed,a really nice purple commo can't remeber what model and a few other ricers and commos in the pack...see we had some nice cars there

well at my meet up in my frount yard, we had a 02 camry, 72 celica, and 2x 89 skylines, go me i come here most nights, mostly to sleep, but the cars is a bonus, and when i wake up, and they are all there, i am happy that no skum stole them in the night.

why should i bother with cars because i hav no licence?? why should i b a moderator on australias biggest mixed car forum?? why should i take the time and effort to host the "bigger" cruises the state has?? why should i volunteer my services for marshalling DRIFTAS events?? why should i offer to help ppl with goals such as featuring in a magazine or gaing sponsorship for drift events??

because i love cars....but not just to the extent that i want to own a "nice" car....but because i want to see the car scene in tasmania grow and for other ppl to reape the rewards for the effort they put into cars!! ask any1 that knows me well...id do anything for any1 if they asked me to!!

Come on guys- fair enough some shit has been said about car clubs but there is no reason to start accusing people of shit just because you thought you heard something.
If people want to participate in any of the clubs/groups kickin around so be it- just make sure your the individual who can say "ätleast I am enjoying my cruises" and not focusing on the other groups achievements/failures.

I don't give a fuck what cars people drive- and if you do compare your car to others well maybe you should compare it to a car that has the similar aspects. There is no use comparing a skyline to a hyundai.

Tassie is to small of a hole to mess shit up for people- in all fairness 95% of the people that participate in reg. socail activities with clubs/groups do the responsible thing and save there reckless driving for the track. We are all good people in some form or another and should be able to have our clubs/groups co-exist on the streets.

Just try to remember that for all those who enjoy a cruise value the help, experience, explenations and terminalogy of all motorsport influences- we are all here to help others and in the same way gain experiences from other peoples trials and tribulations.
If you have a happy community of fellow motorsport enthusists the time will be better spent and more throughly enjoyed.

u know me bud... I don't like to badmouth people..... I try and avoid that wherever possible. I can understand u puttin a lot of "cheek" into the posts... but sometimes it starts to get too much on certain subjects! ie. shift!

my name isnt brenno and im not really with either havnt had a car to go to any meets to but i definatly wont b wid shift maybe hopefully there will b a rotary club some time in the near future i dont reckon thats the point i reckon all the clubs shud meet up at the same place even if not all together each in there own groups. so as the lazy said a actual car scene not heaps of ppl meeting in all different places!
