SEE THE V8 SUPERCARS IN STYLE AT QUEENSLAND RACEWAY

Over the past five years tickets into the Orrcon Racing corporate facility have continually developed as one of the most sought after passes in the V8 Supercar pit paddock.

The experience is one that money can’t buy and is generally limited to staff and customers of the steel and tube manufacturer and distributor.

For the upcoming round of the V8 Supercar Championship at Queensland Raceway Orrcon is providing the platform for one lucky person to win two passes into its corporate facility for two days of the event.

The two corporate passes are to be auctioned on www.orrconracing.com.au with all money raised going to Orrcon’s chosen charity for 2006, Wildlife Warriors.

“Queensland Raceway is undoubtedly our biggest corporate facility of the year, and each year it just keeps getting bigger and better,” said Orrcon Sponsorship and Events Manager Stewart Smith.

“Last year we treated our guests to some amazing ice sculptures, in-car scanners, massage chairs and let them get behind the wheel of a Hyper Stimulator. This year’s corporate facility will continue to expand the interaction between the sport and our guests with some very special and unique experiences at the race track.

“Whoever wins the auction will be in for a very unique experience and to make it even more memorable all of the money raised is going to charity.”

Included with the corporate passes is all food and drinks, an exclusive behind the scenes look in the pit garage of the Orrcon supported WPS Racing team and visits to the facility by the team’s drivers Jason Bargwanna and Max Wilson.

A simple registration process is required to place a bid and bidding for this item will close at 5:00pm (AEST) on Friday July 14, 2006.

Wildlife Warriors was established in 2002, initially by Steve and Terri Irwin as a way to include and involve other caring people to support the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife – from the individual animal to an entire species.

Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Worldwide (formerly Steve Irwin Conservation Foundation) is growing into a new era of local and global wildlife preservation. Their name has recently changed to better reflect the mobility and reach of their small but highly motivated organisation. It is also indicative of the broad group of people, corporations and foundations who will be supporting the exciting conservation programs they are developing.
