Hi

Purchased myself a 67 Fastback Mustang shell a few days ago, which will be my new project. It's already been converted to RHD making life a bit easier.

Whilst I'm like many millions of others and love "Eleanor", I do want it to look like a replica, however I want to build it retro style as the Holden concept car the "Effijy" was but my budget is not what Holdens was.

My intentions are the following:-

1.) Same colour, bodykit etc as the genuine Shelby GT500 67 Mustang
2.) Still haven't decided on a full crate carby engine i.e. Merlin etc or going for a full EFI current Ford V8 set-up. Will have a tuff driveline that will see the 1/4 mile plus regular cruising
3.) Will have the same interior, but I'm after a more custom speedo etc i.e. I want it all to be digital and space age so to speak.

This is my first Ford (gee I feel bad admitting this in public tongue.gif). What I'm needing help with is the following:-

* A website/company in the U.S.A. that has first class kits to purchase for what I need etc, preferably metal not fibreglass
* Assistance with pros and cons over engine selection i.e. carby V's EFI and which engine would be best
* Any particular instruments that I have described for the speedo etc that would be suitable and where best to purchase from
* Any other useful information that may help in the build

Build completion date is the October 2007 all going to plan.

Thanks in advance for the help
