hey guys today i parked my car at Browns Plains hungry jacks car park shops area and went to go off in work van to do eletrical work at Mt Tamborine, well i came back this arvo to find a massive gash all thru my front right bumper which is torn open with blue paint around it. A blue car or trailer must have slammed straight into it being a fuckn moron and drove off with out leaving a note which is what most dickhead motorists do these days!! I am a 18yr old First Yr apprentice and the car is in my name so i cant afford full comp insurance so the buck comes out of my hard workin pocket unless i can find out who the prick was. Does ne1 live in that area and know if that carpark has Video Surveilance and what my chances are of finding the security company and getting footage of the offenders vehicle? i live in moorooka so it will be a trip down just to look for security and thingz atm,

Dude best talking to the manager at hungries, they have their own surveilence camera's dont leave it to long cause they run on vcr. It could be possible for them to rewind and tape the previous day.

i had seom dickhead run into the sil80 and do a runner.. we found the guy and took him to the cops. i know how u feel i was fuming.. lucky we found him cause 4800 bucks in damages is a lot.. checking the cameras is a very good idea.. u most probably will have to get the cops invovled to get the tapes

these things happen mate. no matter what your income, it's still gonna piss you off! it's part of owning car i guess..

It may be a big thing for someone on a small wage but it's also sometimes a bitch trying to find who did it. Rather A) see what it'll cost, see insrance claim through them if it's a lot more then the excess, and also ask to see how much your premium will go up do the calculations and see if its worth it b) spend a few hours asking seruirty and checking cameras as said

But really i wouldn't keep going after it if i couldn't find it on the cameras wouldn't be worth the time trying thats all.

thankz for the help guys, well in my earlier post i was going to check after i do work out at runcorn which was yesterday (saturday) well i almost got my car hi-jacked at sunnybank plaza main traffic lights area on mains road, i was driving along and not many cars around at 6:30 in the mourning, than i am slowing down to the red light, a car dives past like an idiot and swerves infront of me, so i change lane and he swerves right back infront of me and stopped his car at the lights. than 5 thugz hopped out all drinking with bottles n came upto my car and i cudn't undertand what they were yelling and they tried to open my doors but i used central locking and than they yelled some stuff and went back into their cars.....than turned off into altandi train station...probz to mug some1 there...

umm okay...this week has been wierd going from being in work van hitting a dog...getting my car hit by sometin in a car park with no note left, than getting car allmost hi-jacked by some thugz, to getting a court appearance date for drink driving when i was sitting in my car out the front of my GF's house and i wasn't even driving...and was staying their the nite...thats why i was drinking...i cant believe it....

theres a movie coming out called Just My Luck... you'd give that guy a run for his money
