..Hi my name is Colin and i just bought a 1989 nissan 240sx for only $350 cdn, and all it needs is some floor work under the drivers side seat.... the most damage it has is the strut towers are rusted and they both need to be replaced... if you have any comments or suggestions about what i can do to get it done properly and for it to pass safety... im pretty sure i need to buy a strut tower bar, but thats after they are redone... i think the previous owner parked it after the passenger side tower gave way and cracked half way around... but other than that its a good first car/project car... im even doubting that it will pass structural safety.

goto a wrecking yard and buy some second hand struts from another 240sx

unbolt, remove the old and replace with the second handies

i was way in over my head with that car.. too bad tho eh..lol... i decided to take it to the scrapper and get 120 for it... with the 120 and some cash i had i decided to buy another rear wheel drive hatch back but this time it was a Chevette ! 86 vette 2dr auto... all i need is 2 doors and some rocker work but i have a friend who has rockers made and 2 new refab'd doors all for 100... with the 4 bolt pattern 4x100 i can get some stock 15's from some civic or volks and replace these lil 13's..lol i already have a pair of steel polished superior wheels but no rubber.. they are 13 but way wider than stock:P.... seeing as i bought it from some 90yr old G'MAA she had no passengers so the passenger side door was rusted shut... so i cu the lock out and popped the pins out and put in a door that opens but then again its only temporary... the exhaust....i got a pipe offa 92 buick century and a 3.5 in can... also i have a 12in long by about 5 wide smoke stack piece from a peterbuilt...:P im bolting it on after the can so when i decelerate it will sound like a monster 1.6l the fenders are gonna be cut out an inch and im gonna put some flares on and bondo the seams... then lower it a lil and put 5 4 inch fog lights in the grill for them stormy winter nights when we all go rallying around:P i plan on taking the rear seats out and placing a single bucket in the center.... o and i plan on up grading the transmission with a 5spd..racing clutch and flywheel. along with a high output exhaust manifold. the only thing that im stuck debating on is what kind of bumbers / body kit to put on..

I also got a Nissan 240sx, but I don't use it right now I stored it to the garage and it's been a year since I last used it, you can buy mine Nissan 240sx radiator if you like it...
