The driver of the car was being stupid, driving 100 MPH trying to pass cars when he crashed head on into a truck. 2 people dead.

Where is the blood? Wouldn't that have caused a hefty spray over the rear windscreen? and on the truck?

Feb 9 2006, 05:47 PM
Not exactly - it's not rare for there to be a serious crash like that and there be very minimal blood in the whole scene - depends specifically on the impact, injuries etc
I agree with you though maddog, the more you look at that picture, the more something looks wrong and fake. Sadly though chances are it ain't.

at 100 MPH the car would be wedged further underneath the car than that. as for the blood, you can see the whole front of the cabin is underneathe the truck so the blood probably pooled in the base of the shell of the car.

i would never do 100mph in a car like that, let alone do it while over taking and shite - truck took it pretty well, i might drive round in a semi from now on

Not necasarilly. Car WAS travelling at 100mph (apparently) but pre colllision, im sure braking would of occured which would of washed of x amount of speed. Not to mention the car prolly wouldnt go any further due to the trucks axle/wheel setup. Judging buy the damage on the truck its feasible that it is genuine, certainly the damage on both vehicle seems to reflect that.

The green car is a Seat Cordoba, circa 1994 - 98.
www.seat.com
Known to have quite a rigid shell, but no match naturally against a Scania.
You can see a little white oval sticker on the Seats (Say-It) rear bumper, this is the cars 'nationality plate', tells you what country the vehicle is registered in.
When you take your own vehicle overseas you must fix to the rear bar an 'AUS' sticker or plate.
Though the poster makes a point of 100mph (160km/h) stated speed at overtaking, Europe and Africa, the Pacific et al all use km/h, exceptions are GB and USA. In my view this looks a genuine suicide, for whatever emotive reasons.

ever seen a real crash causing death?
honestly blood would of splattered for sure but not at those speeds more then likely just pooled up inside the wrecked car.
i wonder what goes through a persons mind 0.1 before impact?
mine would be "oh" then splat!

Why on earth would anyone even contemplate let alone discuss "blood pooling" or whether or not the occupants would have been killed. Bit wierd really....

This is really as fuck. It was posted before and was linked to a SEAT forum. After the car was moved you could see the 2 young fellas and there last facial expressions and the top of the heads poped and brains scattered. Also I think the speedo stopped on the time of impact.
It's no chop, if your interested in the pics try find it or ask on a SEAT forum, maybe 4SET will know.

i cant understand 2 things, so ppl pls help.
1. were is the roof its mising so it looks like the truck fell on top of the car and took the roof out, but then look at the doors the rear doors still der???
2. and by lookin at the photo impact must of been prety big sending big amount of vibration thrue the whole car, woudnt that break the rear window and little ones on the side back of the car??
the more you look at this photo u intend to think a bit more and try to picture how that hapend, with blood if it did hapen for real would be all in the car shell, and not neserely would be outside the vehicle.
but it looks somehow fake from just 1 photo. the person who posted can u look in to it (if u can be fukd) and get few more pics.
thx..
feel bad for relatives of ppl who were in the car.

Wuite easily explained. See how the areas around the glass isnt warped or bent? If it warped or bent it would of popped the glass, the forward momentum of the car would og helped keep the glass intact.

I don't mean to sound insensitive - but you've really got to give it to car manufacturers. That is a excellent example of just how well cars can be built - in the fact that despite all the frontal damage, the rear sides etc are pretty much fine. I mean the rigidness is evident by looking at the pillars - the corner pane of glass is still whole, let alone the rear windscreen.
Worse than that though is going under a truck from the back. Ever wondered why trucks have a bar hanging off the bottom of the tray? And why that bar is called a suicide bar? Self explanatory actually...

The Cordoba is registered in Czechoslovakia, again, see the (CZ) Nationality sticker on the bumper. This designates the country of registration, NOT the nationality of the driver. See the web for the crash location. That said, the number plate is not the EU (ISO) Standard, but likely an older 'native' plate design now discontinued in EU states.
Car is a 1994/5 model.
its not in aussie by the looks of it.
DID say that back one page.
