i wish i would of known about this befroe xmas i could of asked for it
just have a quick look over the package now and it looks like a bit of fun, always been interested in how beer is made and thought it would be fun to give it a bash.
has anyone played around with this kit? is it as easy as the video says to make the beer? is the beer drinkable?

Mate I have been making brews now for well over year!! Most have turned out really good. The beer is very drinkable and its easy to play around and get the taste you are after.

Go to the Bootleg Barn, They will help you out. You can get home brews to taste very close to the beer you like.

The strength is dependant on how much sugars you use. You can vary it by changing the voulme of sugar in each batch. But if you use more sugar than 1kg as stated as normal, then you'll need more yeast in there to ferment the sugar otherwise it will carry over to the bottles and you'll end up with exploding bottles

Yes, you can get one for spirits. Go to bootleg barn in palmerston (not sure if the place in homemaker has it) but they have it out there (mate told me he got it from there). They actually have everything out there you need for homebrew.
