ok heres the go i have been looking through some of my magazines and have noticed that some fotographers take fotos of cars with the park lights on but they also have the indicators on aswell?
now i no it isnt just touch and go leaving the hazzard lights on and guessing when they will flash on and clicking the camera so how is it done does anyone no?

i always use a long exposure shot....obviously that takes in the indicator when it flashes. method would be the person to talk to in depth, i have a basic understanding of the logic of photo taking but mef' understands the principles involved as well

the long exposure mode allows the shutter to stay open for a set amount of time thus letting in light throughout that time and unless you have stupid indicators they will flash in that period and that will show up in the shot (some cams allow you to change the amount but most cheap point-and-shoot's have a 5 - 10 second "night shot" or similar mode.

Jord: No idea, would have to see it in the flesh. "Night Mode" might do it for you (just...maybe...if you're lucky).
