I'd say go and get yourself another headunit as well!!

When i first started out in the audio scene i had one of those decks... had nothing but trouble with it! Overheating issues, shutting off when the going got tough.

All you'll want is a monoblock that produces at least 300rms and you'll be a happy camper. The small range alpine units will be your best bang for buck man. smile.gif

Meh..i didnt pay for it and got the subs for 50 bux brand new so im going el-cheapo. will those alpine units power both subs ? could you suggest a model perhaps.

MRP-M350, ($399RRP) rated at 350wrms, but puts out more like 400. It will be plenty for your subs! They only handle 120wrms, so if anything, the Alpine is too much. Even a little 4 channel will be enough... MRP-F240 ($299RRP).
