You're not mates with Matty that is going kswap in the eg atm are you?
He mentioned knowing a certain dc5r-t owner.

Yeh Matty's a friend of mine. His car is coming along nicely.

What power/boost were you running when we had a run?

Haha Thanks man. You should've seen the look on me and my mate's face. We were pretty shocked at how close the race was. Your car looked like an ordinary 180 (no offence thumbsup.gif ) which I usually don't have alot of trouble with but yours was pretty shocking.

My car only runs 220kw@10psi. Yours must have aftermarket turbo yeh?

Ah ok. I only assumed that the car would have been set up for drag racing as I remember Top Fuel had a crazy turbo EK9 ages ago, that was used mainly for drag racing.

Would love to see your car in action... or just in general really. Some decent engine mods are the type of thing I would like to do down the track. Would also like to see what kinda suspension/rims/tyres your using to get all your power to the ground.

Well the car is well beyond ever being tracked as I built it with street/drag in mind. On the street, only part throttle is used in 1st and 2nd, then full 3rd, 4th and 5th(if necessary). I run some heavy 18's with bridgestones and street spec coils.

I do understand where your coming from, it really depends what you like doing with the car. You like to track, I like to drag (not so much anymore). But for everyday driving, you can really appreciate the torque of the turbo. Plus you can't beat the sound of vtec+turbo laugh.gif
