Droplink Bar Help!, help me out with info about this part

hey guys

recently purchased a mean 4x4 and have just checked it in to my local mechanic for a check up and general go over with ne recommendations for it. long story short it doesn't have power steering and considering getting that put in but they recommended i get a part called a DROPLINK BAR??? can anyone advise whether there is any need to purchase this ? they said briefly today that it will help improve steering or accuracy of the steering ....but if this thing doesn't have power steering i cant imagine it would make it much better anyhow guys throw us some advice this site is always handy for info

i bought this vehicle to have a bash and fun in the bush and im new to the 4wd scene so keep it in mind i dont plan to start climbing vertical rock cliffs just yet hahah

yea mate u will need one for sure. my mate, has a 2inch sus and 2inch shackle n he had to buy one from superior engineering. they are used because with your normal draglink, it will hit your drivers side ubolt which will ruin your J arm or possibly jam it n loose steering. but i know off people who have gotten away with a 35mm shortened drag link but that is because they move there diff forward.

yeah im the fella cris its talking about,

yeah thought id just see how it went, 4wd all weekend,
coming home came round a corner and the drivers side wheel just started wobbling its tits off

not good, so yeah get one for sure
